Refund Policy

Please read the following carefully before submitting a refund request

At CivicVPS, we are dedicated to providing our customers with reliable and high-quality VPS hosting services. We understand that circumstances may arise where you might need to request a refund. Our Refund Policy is designed to be fair and transparent, outlining the terms and conditions for refund eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Service Disruption: You may be eligible for a refund if there is a significant disruption in the provision of our services, and we are unable to resolve the issue within 3 business days.
  • Billing Errors: In the case of billing errors or accidental overpayment, we will review and process refunds for the excess amount paid.

For New Clients / Subscriptions

  • Plans 1 - 3 Months: You can cancel within 3 days after the validation of your order and the reception of the confirmation email. You may cancel and request a full refund for your subscription.
  • Plans 6 - 12 Months: Cancellation within 7 days - you may request a full refund for your subscription.

Note: We will not be able to process refunds after 7 days for any reason.

For Renewals

We accept refunds only for automatic renewal billing. For all recent renewals done manually, we will not be able to approve any refund.

  • Plan 1 Month: Non-refundable.
  • Plans 3 - 6 Months: Refundable within 3 days.
  • Plan 12 Months: Refundable within 7 days.

Partial Refund for Active Clients

As an active customer, if you decide to cancel your service after a period of use, we may approve a partial refund for the remaining duration of the contract based on usage. Setup fees are not included.

Exclusions

Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

  • Violations of Terms of Service: Refunds will not be issued for customers found in violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Non-Usage: If you have not actively used the services during the billing period, refunds will not be granted.
  • Service Termination Due to Violations: If your account is terminated due to violations of our policies, a refund will not be issued. Please refer to our Terms of Service to review the policy.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact Support: Reach out to our customer support team via refund@civicvps.com from the email address registered with your account. Clarify the reason why you want to claim a refund and provide your username along with any necessary supporting documentation.
  2. Allow Processing Time: While we process all refund requests within 3 business days, please note that there may be additional delays depending on your bank that are beyond our responsibility.
